We are Pete and Sophie Davey and we live here on the farm with our three children. We supply quality wholesale produce to processors and retailers throughout the UK.
Established in 1923 by Bill (William) Davey, Slade Farm is a third-generation family run farm nestled in the South Downs in West Sussex. Here on our farm, we grow sweetcorn, pumpkins, asparagus, maize, potatoes and cereals (wheat and barley). In addition, our herds of beef cattle are reared in the most natural and sustainable way possible.
Slade Farm also hosts to two successful annual outdoor attractions for all ages.
Rogate Pumpkin Patch
Held in the last two weeks of October our farm transforms into a pumpkin extravaganza, celebrating everything pumpkin and spooky. Attracting tens of thousands of visitors every year it is now one of the largest pumpkin events of its kind in the South East. Much more than a pick-your-own, our carefully curated attractions, each with its own authentic character, are designed for imaginative play, perfect photos and fun. With trails, games, a funfair, shop, catering and a well-stocked pumpkin patch of all colours and sizes, it’s the perfect autumn day out for all ages.

Every August we open up our stunning sunflower fields for our beautiful sunflowers event. Visitors are invited to pick their own sunflowers and enjoy a great family day out on the farm. Additional activities include haystacks to climb, tractor rides, sunflower arranging, delicious local food & drink and the chance to buy our own grown sweetcorn.
